Shrimp Basket Focuses on January Reopening

Gardendale will soon have another sit down restaurant option as Shrimp Basket is set to have a grand reopening in January. Tiffany Hammock, with Shrimp Basket’s marketing team, told Gardendale News that Shrimp Basket plans to bring over 50 new jobs to the Gardendale location.

Gardendale News asked Tiffany what helped Shrimp Basket’s decision to reopen in the Gardendale community. She stated that Shrimp Basket received  “several messages a day telling us how much they missed Shrimp Basket.”

In the current economic and jobs environment, we asked Tiffany what challenges the company is facing in hiring.  Tiffany stated that Shrimp Basket faces “many challenges such as inflation in the economy which has people looking for new opportunities due to the pandemic. We have posted open positions on several different hiring sites as well as in the Gardendale Chamber newsletter. We are excited about the amount of applications that we are receiving and we are adding great people to our family everyday.”

Having Shrimp Basket reopen in Gardendale gives residents a much needed new option for dining out. That coupled with adding 50 plus jobs for the community, is good news for Gardendale.
