Update: The Gardendale News originally reported that this was the first time in a decade a school from Jefferson County had made it to the World Championship. Corner Elementary and Corner Middle Schools have earned the distinction the last 4 years. West Jefferson Elementary has also competed. We apologize for the error and celebrate all students of Jefferson County in their accomplishments!
