Snow’s 4 RBIs Leads Rockets to 17-2 Win Over Clay-Chalkville

Gardendale Varsity Softball traveled to Clay Chalkville today and brought offensive firepower with them as they put up 10 runs in the first inning and 7 runs in the 4th in a game called in 4 innings due to runs scored.

Clay-Chalkville managed 2 runs in the 2nd inning, but it was nowhere near enough to overtake the Rockets.

Natalie Snow was the starting pitcher and went 2 innings with 3 strikeouts and Sophie Gant closed the game out on the mound for the Rockets.

Gardendale had 9 hits in the game with Gant, Catey Thomas and Cheyenne Simpson all with a hit and Anna Valentine, Kenley Vaughn and Snow with 2 hits each. Snow led the Rockets with 4 RBIs.

The Rockets are back in action tomorrow at Corner High School.
