Traveling down to the gulf to play the Gulf Coast Classic 3 spring break tournament, the Gardendale Rockets used 3 pitchers combining for a 1-hitter and solid hitting to take down Harpeth 11-1 in 6 innings.
Gardendale was leading 1-0 through 3 innings, and then came the big 4th inning where the Rockets put up 7 runs. including a homerun for Caiden Combs. Combs also had 3 RBIs for the game.
They added 2 runs in the 5th and another one in the 6th to finish out with 11 runs total off of 10 hits.

Combs, Juan Pablo Morales, Connor Hensley, Jackson Burdette and Grant Chandler all had a hit in the game, and Bryson Barnes (3RBIs) and JD Salters had multiple hits.
Ty McGraw got the start for the Rockets and went 3 innings, allowing no hits and no runs with 3 strikeouts.
Seth Alexander & Connor Mims came on in relief to close out the game for the Rockets.
The Rockets now move on to play East Lawrence on Tuesday, 3/29.
