The Mortimer Jordan Blue Devil Wrestling team charged through the draw at the 6A Duals State Championships on their way to a finals match-up with Mountain Brook.
MJHS easily handled Pell City and Gardendale in the first two rounds and soundly beat Hartselle in the semi-finals, setting up the final with MBHS on January 2oth.
Mountain Brook edged Mortimer Jordan by the narrow margin of 32-27.
Jacob Horton, Conner Horton, Caleb Wright, Aiden Morris, Brodie Christmas, Cruz Rainwater and Caden Todoroff all had wins in the finals for MJHS.
