Gardendale: Airbnb Rentals on Chopping Block at June 5th Meeting

The Gardendale City Council will hear from the public at the June 5th meeting on the issue of banning all new Airbnb/short-term rentals in residential zones in the City.

On May 11th, the Gardendale Planning and Zoning Commission favorably recommended a ban.

The City Council is the final decision maker.

If the City Council votes to enact the ban, then any existing homes currently being operated as Airbnb/short-term rentals in residential neighborhoods would be allowed to continue to operate.

The public may speak for or against the ban at the 6pm meeting at Gardendale City Hall.
