The Pickleball craze can’t be stopped as it is the fastest growing sport in the area with courts that stay full across across the area and especially at the new Bill Noble Park.
Students from Bragg Middle School traveled to Clay on May 13th for a one-day state tournament – the Alabama High School Pickleball State Championships. The Championships have a high school and a middle school division and 8 students in 4 teams (2 boy teams and 2 girl teams) so dominated the state competition that they finished with the gold and silver medals.
Bragg Middle Boys:

SILVER: Nash Barnes & Cohen Corbell
Bragg Middle Girls:
GOLD: Josey Shackleford & Natalie Thornton
SILVER: Charlee Ragsdale & Presley Lavies
