The Gardendale City Council voted 5-0 to pass Resolution 2023-087 approving the promotion of Kim Moody to Sr. Municipal Court Clerk in Gardendale.
Mayor Stan Hogeland expressed to the Council and those in attendance at the meeting that Moody “has done a great job in a difficult situation. We look forward to her continued success.”
The Council also approved the hiring of James Reed to the Gardendale Fire Department. Reed had previously worked for Director Dale Hyche who runs the Gardendale Park & Recreation Department.
Hogeland expressed that Reed is exactly the kind of person he wants working for the city and that he cares about Gardendale.
