Bill Noble Park proved successful from the day it opened, maybe too successful. With the full calendar of travel ball teams coming in on the weekends from around the state and surrounding states, plus the overwhelming response from the tennis, basketball and pickleball courts, the City of Gardendale moved quickly to expand the parking for the popular facility.

The City applied for a grant from the Jefferson County Commission’s Community Fund to help in funding a parking expansion at the Park. The City was awarded $250,000 toward the expansion.

Parker Building Services will be used for the parking space expansion.
